WEBINAR // Resilience of the Ukrainian Economy: Opportunities for US Investors

On April 18th, 2024 at 2:00pm (EST) the Global Policy Institute (GPI) and Bay Atlantic University (BAU) held an event titled “Resilience of the Ukrainian Economy: Opportunities for US Investors” via Zoom and in-person.

The Russian aggression has been met with incredible courage by the Ukrainian people. Beyond the human toll and the need to replace destroyed military hardware, the country’s economy has been badly damaged. However, Ukraine proved to be resilient and resourceful. War notwithstanding, there are viable economic sectors unaffected by the conflict. Indeed, Ukraine can be a desirable destination for US direct investments. During the event, opportunities for American investments in Ukraine were discussed with Halyna Yanchenko, a Ukrainian member of Parliament with special expertise in investment promotion and anticorruption policies.

GPI and BAU hosted a Member of Parliament of Ukraine and the Secretary of the National Investment Council of Ukraine, Halyna Yanchenko.
