John Wright
John Wright has a law degree from Yale Law School (2005) and a B.A. in Economics from Yale College (1998), where he graduated with the highest grade point average in the Yale Class of 1998. During summers in law school and college, he worked in the Missouri Governor’s Office and State Treasurer’s office in Jefferson City. John will be teaching as a visiting scholar at the University of Missouri School of Business in the Fall of 2012. He previously founded and managed Rollins Capital, a partnership dedicated to investing in growth companies across a diverse set of industries. He is also the founder of The Rollins Reading Company, a non-profit organization dedicated to developing and funding programs that promote early childhood literacy in mid-Missouri in partnership with the Columbia Public Schools. He has served on the Advisory Boards of Jumpstart, a national organization dedicated to early childhood literacy, as well as the Infrastructure, Safety, and Environment division of RAND, a non-partisan public policy research organization.
