Panel Discussion: Creating Humanitarian Safe Zones in Syria: How and Where to Start?
As the Trump Administration, Turkey and a number of Arab countries are preparing for the option of setting up “Humanitarian Safe Zones” in Syria to address the ongoing crises of refugees and help start a political solution to the war, diplomats, experts and decision makers are focusing on ideas to implement and mechanisms to be adopted.
BAU International University, and the Global Policy Institute, a research center working closely with BAU, are pleased to invite you to participate in a conversation about the subject on its campus located at 1510 H St. NW, Washington, DC.
BAU and GPI will host a panel that will include military, diplomatic and NGOs experts. The audience will include members of the diplomatic community, academics, representatives of Syrian groups, media, and students.
