Clarence Edwards

Clarence Edwards is a government relations and strategic communications professional who helps organizations navigate the U.S. public policy landscape. A bridge builder between cultures, he helps people to understand the policies and politics of the U.S.

Clarence has worked for the U.S. government, foreign government officials, nonprofit organizations and celebrities. He supported efforts to explain the U.S. to the world as an official of the U.S. Information Agency, successfully advocated for increases in funding for global development programs for Bono/ONE Campaign and the Sabin Vaccine Institute, and raised awareness of Australia’s policy interests in the Indo-Pacific region as an advisor to the Australian aid program. While researching the social impact landscape and studying human centered design he helped to organize the 2019 GlobalPDX annual conference, “Local to Global: Sustainable Solutions for a Changing World”.

Clarence holds a Master’s in International Public Policy from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies and studied Innovation for Economic Development at the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government.
