Ilona Hanandeh is a current GPI researcher focusing on foreign affairs, global security, and international development. She is also in graduate school in Washington D.C. and a corporate communications professional with over a decade of experience in the Banking and Financial Institutions sector in the MENA region.

Her expertise encompasses a wide range of disciplines within corporate communications and branding, including strategies, media analysis, financial planning, sponsorships and partnerships, branding and corporate identity, public relations, media relations, marketing campaigns, and reputation and crisis management. Ilona worked on numerous large-scale projects across the MENA region and western Europe before moving to the U.S. and join Global Policy Institute.
