North Korea’s nuclear capabilities are increasing while Washington fails to fully fund Ground-based Missile Defense (GMD) that could protect the US homeland from a devastating nuclear attack. It is imperative that Congress and the White House act to get GMD ready for the likely event that a hostile state tries to strike the United States.
